| 0.25 mg | 0.25 (0.25) | 8 hourly | PO | Initial dose for 1st week. |
| 0.5 mg | 0.5 (0.5) | 8 hourly | PO | Dose for 2nd week. |
| 0.75 mg | 0.75 (0.75) | 8 hourly | PO | Dose for 3rd week. |
| 1 mg | 1 (1) | 8 hourly | PO | Dose for 4th week. After week 4, if necessary, daily dosage may be increased by 1.5 mg/day on a weekly basis up to a dose of 9 mg/day, and then by up to 3 mg/day weekly to a total dose of 24 mg/day |
