STRONTIUM RANELATE
Overview
Strontium ranelate is bone metabolism modulator; inhibits bone resorption while maintaining bone formation and Antiosteoporotic agent. It is used for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis to reduce the risk of vertebral and hip fractures. Its cemical formula is C12H6N2O8SSr2.

| 2 to 2 gm | 2 (2) | 24 hourly | oral | Take on empty stomach between meals, preferably at bedtime. Take at least two hours after food, milk, milk products or calcium supplements. mix only with plain water. Once reconstituted in water, the suspension is stable for 24 hours.
However, it is recommended to drink the suspension immediately.
