Herb's Description
Trigonella foenum-graecum Linn.. Erect annual, 10-50 cm tall, sparingly pubescent to glabrous. Leaflets 1-3 cm long, 5-15 mm broad, obovate to oblanceolate, dentate or incised; stipules lanceolate, acuminate, entire. Flowers 1-2 in leaf axils. Corolla yellowish-white, sometimes tinged with lilac. Fruit glabrous or pubescent, tapering into a beak, 10-20 seeded(86). Seeds rhomboid, semi-transparent, somewhat compressed and of a greenish-yellow or yellow brown colour, hilum on the sharper edge, channel extending along the middle of the seed and dividing it into two irregular bodies surface of the testa tubercular
