Stems erect, glabrous, 60-150 cm in height, basal leaves petiolate, 55 cm x 15-18 cm, lyrate; upper ones oblong, obovate to lanceolate; capitula solitary with yellow flowers; achenes 5-6 mm, with 5-8 mm long pappus'
