Coriandrum sativum Linn.. Coriander is a common culinary, aromatic herb which grows to about 60 cm height188'. Leaves alternate, decompound, sheathing, pinnules oblong, narrow, obtuse. Inflorescence a terminal compound umbel, involucral bracts crowded at the base of the pedicel. Fruits are globular and are made up of two halves, they are yellow to brownish in colour and 2-3.5 mm in diameter
