    Ficus glomeratus Roxb.. Spreading laticiferous tree, 9.0-12.2 m tall. Flowering: Spring
    Ficus glomeratus Roxb.'s Fruit. Fruits borne in clusters on the main trunk and leafless short branches, subglobose or pyriform, 2.5-5.0 cm in diameter, red when ripe. Fruiting: Rainy season.
    Ficus glomeratus Roxb.'s Leaves. Alternate, stipules ovate-Ianceolate, pubescent, 1.25-2.5 cm long, petioles 2.5-5.0 cm long, lamina simple membranous, ovate to obovate-oblong or lanceolate, 10-18 cm long, dark green, glabrous or softly pubescent above while lower surface pubescent or glabrous.
    Ficus glomeratus Roxb.'s Bark: smooth in texture, redish grey in color

    Occurence: It is native of Asia. It occurs in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.. Its natural habitat starts from Burma and extends up to Afghanistan. Altitude wise, its zone starts at sea level and goes up to 1200 m. Temperatures between 0`B0 and 40`B0C being most suitable, the plant adjusts to a variety of soils as well. Moist sandy loam soil is, however, ideal.
